Campaign Rationale
Why should a church have a capital stewardship campaign?A growing church typically has a succession of building needs which cannot be funded from their operating budget. Capital stewardship campaigns make it possible for churches to build when the need arises to expand their ministry. For churches that need more facilities or space than they can purchase outright, funds from a capital campaign, combined with prudent borrowing, can accelerate facilities development. What is a campaign? A capital stewardship campaign is an organized effort to lead a congregation in raising the funds necessary to complete a project. The effort is highlighted by prayer and the teachings of stewardship as church families determine God’s will for their spiritual and financial commitment. The campaign typically lasts between 12 and 16 weeks, and precedes a three-year giving period as well as long-term adoption by the congregation of stewardship principles. Can we do a campaign ourselves without a consultant?Although your church leadership may have many of the skills needed to manage a campaign, a Strongtower Stewardship consultant has the time, passion and training to be able to lead and motivate the campaign team, freeing church leadership to continue to focus on existing ministries. Because our consultants have the experience, we understand the multitude of campaign activity options available and the impact of each activity. Strong administrative skills and proven expertise also allow our consultants to adapt to each church’s culture, as well as make appropriate adjustments to compensate for outside influences impacting the timing of the campaign. Finally, hiring a stewardship consultant should be viewed as an investment in a tangible spiritual and financial return in the form of a more engaged and committed congregation. An experienced Strongtower Stewardship consultant should pay for himself as he helps you and your church realize spiritual, leadership and financial growth.

Campaign Details
How much will this Campaign cost? The consulting fee is based upon your church’s annual tithes and offerings receipts, factoring in the size and scope of the capital stewardship campaign. The fee is all inclusive of campaign consulting services, campaign team materials, and consultant travel. Please contact a Strongtower Stewardship consultant to discuss your individual campaign. How do I know if hiring a consultant is worth the investment?A successful capital stewardship campaign yields maximum giving and pledges, and also generates spiritual engagement and long-term church health. An experienced consultant like the individuals at Strongtower Stewardship should pay for themselves in the tangible outcomes they help you and your church achieve; spiritual growth, leadership growth, and financial growth. In addition, pastors and church leadership can continue to focus on existing ministries and programs, ensuring the spiritual momentum that fueled the need for capital continues. What is the timeline of a campaign? During a typical 16-week period, a Strongtower Stewardship consultant will work closely with you to design, introduce and implement your plan. After commitments from your congregation and church leaders, the campaign will progress into a three-year giving period to ensure follow-through and ongoing stewardship within the church body. We will help you cast the vision, set realistic goals and see you through until they’re realized. How will you assist us in doing effective follow-up? A Strongtower Stewardship consultant will be in regular contact with the Pastor and/or Follow-up Team during the entire three-year giving period. Additional on-site visits during this time, at no cost to the church, will be conducted as necessary to reinforce the commitments made and the ongoing importance of stewardship and giving to your local church.

Campaign Mission
What long-term spiritual and financial impact will this have on the church?Church families will experience personal growth – and perhaps be challenged to stretch beyond their old comfort zone – as they study the Bible and pray about God’s will for their involvement. The church will grow together as you align under a vision to achieve a common goal. As people study Biblical stewardship, financial growth will happen in the campaign, and likely within the general budget as well. The three-year campaign timeline also ensures regular “check ups” for the congregation on their commitment to stewardship. What is your philosophy of capital stewardship? At Strongtower Stewardship we are working for the ultimate cause: building the Kingdom together. We do this by applying clear Biblical principles to the uniqueness of your church and campaign. We are brothers and sisters in Christ and part of one church body, devoted to teaching, encouraging, admonishing and inspiring all church families in the body to be strong stewards of their God-given resources. Strongtower Stewardship consultants are called to provide the highest standards of service while living up to the Almighty’s standards in their personal lives.
